These terms explain how our website and services work, what you can expect from us, and what we ask of you in return.

Agreement to these terms
By using the YSource website or engaging our services, you agree to these terms. If you are agreeing on behalf of a business, you confirm you have authority to bind that business. Where a signed proposal or statement of work exists, its specific terms take priority over these.
Our services
YSource provides generative engine optimisation services, which may include AI visibility audits, structured data implementation, content and citation building, and ongoing reporting. The exact scope, deliverables and fees for each engagement are set out in your proposal.
Results and AI platforms
AI platforms such as ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews are run by third parties who control how they generate answers. Their models and ranking behaviour change without notice.
We apply proven methods and report transparently on progress, but we cannot guarantee that your business will be mentioned, ranked or recommended by any specific platform, for any specific query, or by any specific date.
Your responsibilities
- Provide accurate information about your business and respond to requests in a reasonable time.
- Give us the access we need, such as website or listing access, where agreed.
- Make sure any content or materials you supply do not infringe the rights of others.
- Review and approve content before it is published on your behalf.
Fees and payment
Fees are set out in your proposal. Unless otherwise agreed, invoices are payable within 14 days. Monthly retainers are billed in advance. We may pause work on overdue accounts after giving you written notice.
Intellectual property
Once paid for, deliverables created specifically for you, such as content and structured data, belong to you. We keep ownership of our own methods, tools, templates and know-how, and may reuse general learnings that do not identify you or include your confidential information.
Confidentiality
Each party will keep the other's confidential information private and use it only for the purposes of the engagement. We will not name you as a client or publish your results without your permission.
Using our website
The content on this website is provided for general information and does not constitute professional advice. You may not copy, scrape or republish it for commercial purposes without our permission, or use the site in any way that disrupts it or breaks the law.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost profits or revenue. Our total liability for any engagement is limited to the fees you paid us in the three months before the claim arose. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Ending an engagement
Either party may end a monthly engagement with 30 days' written notice, unless your proposal sets a minimum term. You will pay for work completed up to the end date. Sections that by their nature should continue, such as confidentiality and liability, survive termination.
Privacy
Our handling of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page applies to new engagements from the date shown above. Existing engagements continue under the terms agreed at the time unless both parties agree otherwise.
